ARIZONA IRONWOOD KNIFE BLUE WITH 3" DAMASCUS

SANTA FE STONEWORKS

$100.00

Hand-made in Santa Fe, New Mexico by Bill Wertel and his workshop, these knives by Santa Fe Stoneworks are unique and very cool.

The handles of these knives are crafted of Arizona Ironwood, one of the strongest and hardest woods in the world. Native to the Southwest of the United States, it has a unique and handsome burl finish.  The wood is inlaid with a handsome stripe.

The knives feature a 3 inch Steel Damascus blade with a lock-back mechanism for safety. The Damascus Steel used in comes from Japan and is called “Sanmai Damascus” or Sandwich Damascus. There is a core of vg-10 steel with 16 layers of stainless steel on each side to produce a rust free Damascus look blade.
