If you're like us, you empty your pockets on the first flat surface you can find- kitchen counter, dining table, anything, really. If you live alone, you can get away with it. But if you don't....
Our Mantrays™ are the answer. Made in our studios at The Lodge, our Leather man trays are built to hold everything in your pockets. Phone, wallet, keys, mints, pocket Lint, shades, whatever else is in there.
We make these with highly durable premium oil-tanned American leather from SB Foot Tannery (they make Red Wing Boot leather). This leather is a highly durable leather that will stand up to lots of wear and tear (again, think Red Wing Boots).
We hand-select cool and interesting linings to put in these Valets. Something that will look unique when it's on display in your place. We're partial to camouflage and bandana prints, but when we find some offbeat manly ones, we put them to work.
Our craftsman stitches the linings onto the leather for strength. Once this is completed, we let them rest so that the leather and lining get to know each other.
The next step is creating the Mantray™ itself by folding the corners and hand-setting our hard-working Copper rivets. They're strong enough for jeans, so they're strong enough for our trays. Once we've added our mark of excellence, our trays are ready for use.
